LEVEL 2 FOOTBALL ACADEMY that 95% of students that enrolled onto a Level 2 course, successfully progressed to Level 3 DID YOU KNOW...? If you study either our BTEC Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science course or BTEC Level 2 Sport course, there is an additional option to join our Football Academy in partnership with Cray Wanderers F.C. Content During this programme, you will develop your knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in the context of professional football and sports performance. Training in the Football Academy is scheduled around your studies and includes approximately 8 hours of coaching per week with UEFA-qualified football coaches, as well as participation in the Kent Schools U19 Academies League and the FA Youth Cup. Entry Requirements BTEC Level 3 Sport and Exercise Science Four GCSEs at grades 9-4, including Maths and English BTEC Level 2 Sport You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 or above. 30 St Mary’s CTK If you're still working towards meeting the entry requirements for our Level 3 courses, our Level 2 stepping stone qualifications and Aspiring Graduate Programme are designed to support your progression. The Aspiring Graduate Programme will develop your selfconfidence, communication and study skills. Your tutors will deliver a bespoke tutorial programme, catered to your needs and aspirations and also include English and Maths. You will be given specialist support with progression onto a Level 3 programme at CTK Emmanuel, CTK St Mary’s, or elsewhere. If you want to progress into work, you will be given support to secure an apprenticeship or job.
