Will I still get a place at sixth form even though I’m not sitting my exams?
The Government have cancelled all GCSE exams this summer and we’re following their guidance on the new grading system. At enrolment in August, when you have received your results, our experienced staff will be on hand to help build a programme of study for you. As a group of three high achieving sixth forms, we have a place for all hardworking, motivated students.
Can I start preparing for College and completing work now?
Yes our Year 11 virtual school https://www.ctkstmarys.ac.uk/year-11-careers-advice/ has a transition booklet for all the subjects we offer at Christ the King Sixth Forms, including activities and reading lists.
Can I come and visit the sixth forms?
We are following Government guidance on when we can re-open. We will contact you when we are safely allowed to re-open and will confirm whether or not we are able to run our next open day. If you would like to register for a place so we can contact you when we are running an open day or a virtual open day click here https://www.ctkstmarys.ac.uk/news-and-events/open-events/
Can I talk to someone about getting support in place for when I start at Christ the King Sixth Forms?
Of course, we’d love to hear from you. We want to make sure everyone feels supported when they start at Christ the King Sixth Forms. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, enrolment number and a contact number and we will get in touch.
When is the deadline for accepting my offer of a place? Can I wait until my results come out?
Please do not wait until you get your results. As over-subscribed sixth forms, we would not want anyone to miss out on a place because they waited. Many popular courses will be full before results day.
When is results day/enrolment?
GCSE results day is Thursday 20 August. We will send all students that have been offered a place information with how and when enrolment will take place.
