Should I study A-Levels, T Levels or BTECs?

There is no one size fits all when it comes to your career and your future. That is why you can choose between a wide range of A-Level, T Level and BTEC courses at CTK St Mary’s. Whichever route you choose, you will be aiming to study at some of the UK’s top universities or apprenticeship providers. 

If you really enjoyed your GCSEs and would like to continue with the range of more traditional subjects you’ve been studying, A-Levels could be a good choice for you. A-Levels are still essential for certain career routes and still required by some universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge. With A-Levels, you choose up to four different subjects, meaning that you keep yourself open to a wide range of career routes and have a wider range of subjects to choose from at university.

If you want to specialise in a single subject that you really enjoy, T Levels or BTECs are a great route. When you successfully achieve your level 3 BTEC or T Level qualifications, you will achieve UCAS points in the same way as A Levels, ensuring you have lots of university options to choose from.
