Extended Speaker Programme – Bosch
We were delighted to welcome Bosch Engineering UK to St Mary’s on 16th May as part of our ‘External Speaker Programme’. A Level Maths and Science and BTEC Applied Science students were all lucky enough attend an afternoon of presentations and demonstrations to support their studies.
Presentations were given on what Bosch Engineering does and its history, Careers in Engineering, and women in STEM. Students also had a demonstration of Engine ECU, ABS and Sensors on the two Bentleys brought along by Bosch. Speakers from Bosch were Alan George, Bentley Project Manager, Gregg Wookey, Bentley Team Leader, and Bernadette Gray Project Safety Manager.
The afternoon provided students a great opportunity to learn more abut the Engineering sector.
